Westall 小學佔地 9 公頃,與 Westall 中學和 Westall 語言中心附樓以及 Westall 社區中心共享。

學校位於 Clayton South 的住宅區和工業區。

學校建築包括新建成的設施——8 間教室學習中心、體育館(STEM 和藝術)和食堂設施,以及翻新的行政管理。

 

最近,學校與“我們的地方”建立了合作夥伴關係,並獲得了下一階段 Westall 再生項目的 DET 資金。

 

Westall 的多元文化性質為學校社區提供了許多積極的成果。在我們的學生群體中,3% 被認定為土著。大約三分之一的學生繼續來自柬埔寨、越南、中國和東南亞社區。來自印度、沙特阿拉伯和非洲的學生佔另外三分之一,來自太平洋島嶼的學生約佔 Westall 小學多元文化社區學生的 8%。

 

目前在校生226人,其中國際學生18人。 DET 和金斯敦市議會預測未來幾年入學人數會增加。

Preventing and Responding to Racism

Racism is not tolerated in Westall Primary School ​ Westall Primary School is committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment where racism is not tolerated. Racism harms students’ mental health, learning and sense of belonging. We celebrate the diversity of cultures, ethnicities and faiths of all our students. It is up to all of us at Westall Primary School to make our school a place that is free of racism and where everyone feels respected and can learn in a safe and inclusive environment. ​ ​ ​ What Westall Primary School is doing to prevent racism   Westall Primary School follows the Department of Education’s Preventing and Addressing Racism in Schools Policy. We are building a culturally safe school with inclusive learning for everyone by working with staff, students, families, carers and communities. We will: provide programs that teach about and celebrate diversity, inclusion and the impact of racism to build understanding and empathy use practices that support all students to thrive implement anti-racism efforts to prevent and address racism effectively make sure everyone feels safe, with clear and accessible pathways to report racism ​ ​ ​ What to do if your child experiences or witnesses racism at school ​ If your child experiences or witnesses racism or religious discrimination at school, please let us know.
